DHLAir
Those looking for jobs at DHLAir but were worried about being based in Leipzig need worry no more (well at least for the near future). Its all changed and the company has backtracked. Those that were taken on this year with LEJ contracts will be told that they can be permanently EMA based if they want to be. Those that will be taken on in early 2008 will be EMA based.
So chase up that CV. Cos there will be more resignations from DHLAir very soon. (ie. this month)

Sounds good. What type of rosters do DHL operate at EMA. Have heard rumours that they were looking at 6 on - 6 off. How have people been getting on with night flying and family life. JD

Does anyone have any idea what is happening regarding Leipzig bases for F/O's joining? Also an idea of roster pattern from any current F/O's would be great along with interview tips if possible.
Thanks

9 on 5 off not available for Leipzig based crews.
Shortage of jump seats for those commuting.
No private health care.
Otherwise nothing announced regarding Pay (Currency), Tax (German or UK) etc.
Anyone joining for Leipzig base needs several things clarifying, and that includes their sanity, motivation etc, especially if they are not mainland Europe domiciled.
On the plus side, good group of guys / girls to work with, reasonable pay and allowances.
The minus factors outweigh the positive aspects.
