cheers for that. i'm guessing there's nothing to indictate that this scheme won't be operating at some point next year?
i'll hold off applying for now. get another trial flight or two, go to some airshows, and read more aviation publications over the coming months. i really want to give myself the best shot at this one
i'd also like to to finish my degree. not just because i'm enjoying it, or that it gives me something to fall back on. but i also think i need more evidence to demonstrate commitment and motivation.
my only concern is that they wouldn't be running any similar schemes in 3 years time

No worries.
It could be a little difficult to look quite so far ahead for certain - but I understand that the intention is to continue the scheme for the long term and the fleet order book is looking VERY healthy.
You could go along to one of the larger OAT open days as there are generally a number of current NJE cadets you can talk to and - where possible - one of the fleet is there and it is always nice to have a poke around a private jet!

Yes equinox, I would rather wait than sending in a rushed application. they have made it clear that they are expanding and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future , hence they will keep recruiting cadets, i take
