Basic Trigonometry for Selection Tests

Hi All,

I went onto the search function but I didn't exactly find what I was looking for so forgive me for asking a question that 'could' be found on the search but I'm kinda busy at work at present!

Basically, I am going for that selection test, Phase 2, at Cabair. Been brushing up on all mental arithmatic, long division etc but I was wondering whether basic trigonometry is required for the maths/physics tests?

Also, is the Physics tests at these selections your basic GCSE stuff i.e Flemmings right hand rule, Sound waves (peaks, amplitude, wavelength) and all your electricity stuff V=IR.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

Hi Mach086,

Not sure if you've seen this already, but there is some info here: http://www.cabair.com/integrated/assessment.htm

As you can see, they recommend the BBC GCSE bitesize site for revision.

Good luck at your assessment.

Cheers
