Help please!

Hi guys,

My dad held his PPL for many years and flew as part of the radial pair with Gary Numan. we run the Thameside Aviation museum at coalhouse fort.

I now how the funds to begin training. It has always been a dream of mine to become a pilot but i want to know the best way of doing it. I am aware of the heavy funds required but that is not an issue, im currently 17.

Should i get my PPL first and then ATPL?
I have looked at the Cabair programme, am i going in the right direction?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated
Darren

Take a walk down the road and have a poke around Stapleford School of Flying, it's only 15mins away if your in Billericay.

Otherwise look round some schools and they will help you with what to do. Lots of threads on here if you use the search function!

Hi
My recommendation is to BE VERY VERY CAREFUL about choosing your flying school. Remember you buy cheap you buy twice.

so don't be fooled by false promisses that some schools can make.

Do as much research as you can and when you have done that do some more.

My experince of BCFT has been great, I found them professional and supportive.

If you are going for the integrated course than consider the following :

CTC
EFT Herez

They have very strong connections with airlines.

I wish you all the best

There are good reasons they're known as "Scabair".
