Eastern Airways Interview

I have an interview for Eastern Airways in a couple of weeks. Apparently it involves an interview, tech questions and a sim ride. Can anyone either post on here or PM me with anymore details. When I have attended sim rides for other airlines, they have always given details prior to attending, i.e. the plate, power setting etc. However Eastern have sent nothing.
Does anyone know the type of technical questions asked ?
I have asked which bases they are recruiting for, but did not get an answer. They were not even able to tell me how the Bond works, apparently they are looking at changing it back to the old system of a £12000 bond over 3years.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Yes they are the 2 people to send cv's to.Matt Wood has now left, therefore S Jenkins has taken over recruitment.

I would be very surprised if they revert to a traditional bonding arrangement. Plenty people are queuing up for the bank loan scheme, which if you stay 3 years doen't cost you a penny. There are many people in Eastern who joined under the auspices of this scheme, there would be mutiny if people could now join under the bonding scheme of 2 years ago.

up front 12,5000 with a one year bond for 8000 if you leave

or

Bond for 20,000 over 4 years through the bank.

Thats IS the latest situation.

If you stay through out the 4 - Eastern will pay for the loan?

If not you have to pay whatever is remaining?

And further to planeshipcar's post;
  • does the 4-year bond diminsh with time served, or is it £20k for the whole four years?
  • with the £12,5oo up front option, presumably the initial payment is non-refundable...?

Anyone know what happened to Matt Wood?

Hi,

Was on the same course as Matt when he joined and wondered if anyone knew where he went to?

Hi. Just to change the subject slightly, I have been lucky enough to get a J41 sim assessment at Eastern. Is there anyone out there who has been through this and can provide any info about what is involved? Any help would be very much appreciated.

Sim Check

Manchester R24 take off, climb out, turn onto a heading and do some GH then track to NDB then outbound with radar vectors to intercept ILS for approach.
