A quick question

Hi,

Just filling out an application form and confused what are the differences between solo and P1 hours? sorry if this silly i am a novice at this sort of stuff. Thanks for any help.

Hi Edymonster,

Essentially they are the same thing, however Solo generally means flying completed (by yourself) under the guidance of an instructor that has sent you solo, (i.e. when you are a student). P1 is referred to solo hours once you have gained your licence. It sounds confusing but I hope I have made sense!

Yep that makes sense. I did originally think that but just wanted to make sure. Right now i just got to add it all up in the log book :os. Thanks for your help.
