Trainee ATC
Im going for selections tests next week for trainee ATC, however, i graduated from university with a degree in art and design. Do you think this would make much difference? Also, is there many women ATC's?

Degree will have no bearing whatsoever on whether you make it as an ATCer. Keeping 5 miles/1000ft between aircraft, knowing your left from your right and your up from your down will!
Good luck. Eurocontrol and NATS have ongoing recruitment of trainee ATCers, and the money's pretty good.

Eurocontrol slightly better than NATS

But it's not taxed (well, it is... but not at 22%), and there's a whole load of allowances in there that that they don't mention.
