Embraer 145 Simulator

Hello,
Can anyone on this website tell me where I can find an Embraer 135/145 simulator? I have called a few places today and all have no Embraer and they don't know where one is. Please can anyone help me I really need to get on one.
Thanks,
Airmiles

As far as I'm aware there is one in Manchester and also one in Paris, BMI Regional use both. A friend of mine did the sim check in Manchester and type rating in Paris. I couldn't find any specific enough information on either but they are listed here:

Hope this at least helps.

I think there is one in Switzerland as well.

If you have a BMI regional sim coming up, you would do well to learn the engine failure procedure. Even if you have zero time in a jet/jet sim, they will still expect you to handle one then fly down the ILS to a landing OEI.

Hi there

There's also an ERJ 145 sim at Icare Flight Training Centre, in Morlaix, Brittany (France).

For what its worth, there are a few freebie MS Flightsim programs on the net. Will certainly help for the layout and give an idea of the handling.

Manchester and Paris do have EMB145 sims which BA Connect and Bmi regional use on a regular basis. As such it is virtually nigh on impossible for a punter off the street to borrow one, even with an ATPL.

BA Connect do offer external training at the sim at Manchester under their TRTO status. Contact the training dept at Didsbury.
