8 days from initial application to getting an email.

Updated my application a few times the day after I applied and then decided to leave it although I was wondering myself if every time that you update it the countdown starts from zero again. I'm not really sure. My plan was to wait for about a week and if I didn't hear anything then I would delete everything I wrote in the additional info section and update my profile to see what happens. But I never had to do that in the end.

Hope that helps. This whole recruitment process is still a mystery to me!

Hi all! I have a question I would like to ask you. For getting an interview with ryanair, i believe that you must have first pass in all the 14 different atpl courses. But do you need to pass them all in two blocks (7 courses each) or you can pass them in 3 blocks for example?

I hope it's clear. Thanks!

Anyone know the chances of getting a second opportunity once you have been rejected after interview and assessment?

Can somebody recommend a place to do a couple of hours in a 737 Simulator before the interview?

Stonebaked, how much do they charge for it? Their MCC is ridiculously expensive.

Prices are very ridiculous specially if you put in mind that we are speaking about a fixed base simulator.
here an example:

2hr
Simulator Training
1hr briefing
2hr simulator session
30min de-briefing
Instructor included

£690 including VAT

Don't think Simtech are all that cheep either, however it would be nice to practice in the actual SIM your interview/assessment will take place.
JQKA: they are some seriously good prices compared to SIM time in the UK and Ireland, if time is on your side might be worth a trip to Madrid!!!

Help needed - clarification

Well, I applied to CAE and got an email asking for CV,
I sent the CV as requested, one week after I got an email stating that CV was sent to Airline and they will call me in days written in the email.

Well never heard the phone ringing during those days, phone was on always free and working, I also asked my girlfriend to call me to check if international calls were working.
I waited until last day and I never got a call.
A guy I know was in same situation, so he sent the email saying that he was waiting for a call and they called 5 mins after.
I sent an email like this guy and nothing, I sent 3 more and no answers at all.
Few days after got a rejected application, not stating why.

anybody experienced something similar or has ANY advice about what to do now ?
Please PM or answer in the forum, anything can be helpful.

I made another account and cancelled the old to try again, but I don't know what to write if is my first time applying or not ?
Because as many says they accept only first time application.

thanks

Hi guys,

I have an assessment day in Dublin. Am I right in saying that this will be with simtech and they are not full motion sims? Are they the sims that kind of resemble a 737 but not completely? Just curious. Was kinda hoping to get a shot on the full motion one but oh well. Can't complain. Very grateful for the opportunity!

Accountants

Hi people, I know this has been mentioned in previous pages. But which option is the best of the following accountants?

- Contracting Plus

-O'Conner and Associates

- Scanlon Associates

I can't find where this was mentioned...

Thanks!

From the stories I've heard I would go with either O'connor or Scanlon.

With Scanlon myself, quite happy.

So you don't think an extra trip to another place with flight tickets and possibly hotel will be more expensive than going to Simtech the day before?
