Seems like the sim checks are taking place in DUB Hangar 2. Is this a fixed base sim?

Regarding the phone interview

For those of you guys who asked what kind of questions they're giving you on the phone interview;

Basically its just a test to see how good your english are.
I only got questions regarding my licenses and my latest flight ( the date of my latest flight, when I did my skilltest for the IR/ME/CPL etc.), and the validity of my IR/ME. And that was it!

If you get the email where it says that they will call you, just sit down and wait for the call. It can take one day or it can take two weeks.
They called me the very same day they send me that email...

phone call

Hi everybody,

I would like to share my experience with whom of you is waiting for the phone call. I think that, as Mustang888 said, they basically want to check your english. With me they started with questions about ATPL, licenses, medical, MCC and so on to check whether everything was in order. Then we kinda went through some HR questions (why you, why Ryanair,...). I think that this second part comes up depending on how good your english sounds to them in the first part of the phone call (evidently my english wasn't bad since I was invited for the assessment, but still not good enough to spare me from a deeper check ).

It seems that there is not a definite practice how are cadets contacted once they have applied for a TR with CAE. Can anyone, please, comment who recently was contacted for CV by CAE, when did they apply, what application number were given and when were they contacted. Thank you for your time and help!

For those asking if application number matters, my application number is below number 10, it is something like TR-000000000X, applied exactly 8 months ago and still never contacted... Despite the fact that I am young, qualified, and went through good schools....I guess it is a lottery.. But doesn't matter anymore since I got a job with another airline.

Hello Peterfly1

They ask for flight school report. My school had a perfect and all inclusive report. The all-pass theory was issued to me when i passed all the theories (only the examiner's signature and stamp)

CPL/IR is on your license. If it is valid it is ok.
My school's report said that "I have passed successfully on the fiirst attempt the IR and the MEP and the SEP examination" so... no prob.

Hi epp654

Did you have references from high school/academic on your interview ?
I know you pass the interview, did you have any 738 sim, preparation before assessment?
Thx
Martin
