maybe they are so worried ex-staff had such a shocking time whilst working for them and then they become very motivated to go through the time, effort and large cost of pilot training to get into a Ryaniar cockpit for sabotage/terrorist motives?

In my opinion it's as well!! Of course if you were a bad cabin crew and got a lot of no show/late , they know and they will not gonna give you a 2nd chance!

Appreciation

I want to thank everyone in here for your precious info which seems to be accurate as well. I have a few friends who went through the whole process of the RYR cadet program and have all earned the right seat in the cockpit. As i am about to make my move finally after a long wait to actually make my dream come true i would like to share some thoughts with you too. I am 28 Medical Doctor in the profession and a PPL holder. I am currently in the process of ATPL and flight Training and then considering of going for the RYR cadet program afterwards. I read through the forum about a characterization of ''pay to fly donkeys'' which i didnt like at all. Perhaps in the past it was easier to achieve an airline career without spending a lot of money but today these cadet programs look like the only feasible way to make it especially for us in the early 30's who theoretically have less chances against younger candidates. I hope to make it because seriously i cant remember wanting to do anything else in my life except flying planes for a living and the reason it didnt happen is a long and sad story.

all the best to all future flyers in here cordially

Hi guys!

I had my positive news about 3 weeks ago that I passed the interview, but they had no T/R dates available for the moment.
My questions is if someone has got a date yet?
My interview was on the 5th November.

Well I wasn't so lucky, I didn't even get it to a phone interview, fell at the first hurdle it seems.

Anyone else had this? What is their time to re-apply?

205hr TT, 115hr PIC, first time passes, MCC and JOC, etc...

Missing the assessment

Hi guys!

I am supposed to go to the assessment on the 15th Dec. What happens if I send an email that I cannot go? Do I keep the opportunity to go again in the future or I'm done with CAE?

How did you guys (or how will you) find a way to get the 28500EUR to fund you training? That's my biggest concern, I don't have the money right now and I cannot find them and that's why I don't want to go.

Regards
