Hi everyone,

I wonder if some of you are familiar with IAA licensing transfer. I struggle with converting my french licences to IAA... especially due to my expiration dates (IRME and medical) which are expiring in few weeks. Do I have to renew my IR/ME and medical in France before starting the TR or let it expire and deal with IAA during the Type Rating ?

Thanks guys !

The IAA will not transfer any expired rating. As the transfer process can take up to 12 weeks they suggest to have valid ratings for at least 16 weeks.

You can find everything on their website, along with the cost of 363.

Assessment Outcome

Hi all,

Had my assessment nearly 2 weeks ago in Dublin. Still haven't heard anything. How long did it take them to get back to you and how did they contact you? Thank you

For me it took exactly two weeks to get an answer. But I've heard from some guys that they've gotten back to them within days, so I guess it depends.

Normally they will call you if you are successful and email you if you're not.

You need a current MEIR for the day you start the type rating. MEP may not have to be current, not sure. Yes for the medical.

30th

Hi everyone.
I got an assessment on 30th Oct. Could anyone who has passed the assessment successfully(bearing in mind the competition) shed some light on the type of questions they got?
Much appreciated.

So KORE, you had a positive answer ?! Congrats !

I'm starting on the 19th of January on LGW1403, it seems that most of succesful guys in our group are scheduled on LGW1404.
