One year after - I got in

Just a few days (plus one year) after finishing ME/IR/MCC, I got an offer to fly the L-410 turbolet on scheduled cargo and pax flights in Italy. So on Thursday I'm off to Ostrava to swing the sim
Happy landings to all other wannabes and keep your heads up guys!

good for you that sounds sensible, it's not an airbus blah blah but you will be out there doing it for real and that (whatever some idiots will say) is extremely important to most good employers. Very best of luck.

Congrats DUFO. Just out of interest, do you have to pay for the Turbo-Let type rating, and if so, how much? Also, whats the pay like?
