Supose it's going to be called Old Macdonalds and its going to be based on a farm?! with a quack quack here and a quack quack there! Are they going to serve big macs on the flights?

Think some is pulling your leg! and it's not even April fools day yet!

It's true JET_A1, interviews are being held next week at the McDonalds store at the Square in Palmy North. Bring in 10 Big Mac wrappers and you automatically get accepted for the sim ride.

You have no chance of an interview. Half the pilots on the planet already work for them.

Right, don't laugh but just the other day I had this vision of McDonalds Air. I pictured a 100 seat airliner that was serving regional and european destinations where the onboard meals were..........Well, I'll leave you guessing.

I take it the crew have to be dangerously underqualified.....and spotty?

Shouldn't this thread be in Jet Blast?

This story is probably due to their Far Eastern PR company. What they meant to issue was a press release saying:

'Macdonalds pleased to announce new Frying Venture'...

On the other hand, I did see that their rival has just bought options on 20 new Burger Kingairs...

Ooooh, ooooh, do they have a merit system like the restaurants where you get extra gold bars instead of stars on your name badge?

Cool, I always wanted 10 bars.

can you work your way up from lettuce washing to Captain?

Or from grill captain to captain of the aircraft?

I also hear they are going to introduce concord style yokes (control device not eggs!) in the shape of a giant golden "M".

sorry couldn't resist

There's nothing better in the world than seeing the sun rising over the front of the cash register after a long night shift. Personally I qualified thru the CTC-McDonald's scheme so got all my frying paid for.

There was a thread like this a while back it was hilarious.
