CVs - How Often

Hi Guys and Gals,

Just wondering how often you all send out your CVs? I have a go every couple of months.

You people that have jobs how often did you send out yours??

Depends on the company...

Atlantic Airlines request you do so every six months for instance.

Others don't care and only want one when they say they're recruiting.

Some don't ever want one because they do everything on-line.

My view is that unless something changes in your CV (e.g. another 20 hours) or you think your CV is not on file any longer, don't keep sending them just for the sake of it - it's unlikely to make a difference.

There is the theory that if you keep sending your CV regularly it will always be near the top of the pile!

Or the opposite theory that says you will hack them off by doing so and they will bin you!

Then just treble the frequency. You'll either get an ASBO or an interview
