The CTC ATP scheme

Hey!

Thought it would be nice to create a thread on the ATP scheme since it doesn't really belong to the wing cadet scheme. Just wondering if anyone has gone through it and whether it's recommended or not? Any general information about the selection process would also be very nice info =)

I've applied a couple of times in the past few months, but I was told that they won't be sending out application forms until the end of May.

I applied last December and found out in January that I got through to the next stage (Stage 2). I was advised in writing that not to expect Stage 2 until April\May and not to call them, they will call me to advise of dates etc.

Well its now the 8th of May and I am still waiting! I guess they must be very busy and from I have heard there has been a lack of spare places on the AQC course for ATP scheme guys which is why the process has been very slow.

If anyone is in a similar position to me or has recently been through Stage 2 I would like to hear about it

I think things are starting to move with CTC now. I had been waiting for an application form since December, and received it about three weeks ago. I found out last week that I had been accepted onto stage 2, however, like you was told not to contact them as they will advise me of dates.

I wouldnt be surprised if you called for stage 2 in the very near future.
