Stapleford, and successful job hunting
Can anyone shed some light on if and where Stapleford CPL/IR graduates are getting airline jobs please.
I live in Herts and am considering Stapleford for my CPL/IR early next year (after ground school probably with Bristol) but it would be nice to know how successful their graduates are at finding work.
In particular it would be useful to know how airlines like FlyBE, BMI Regional and BACX feel about Stapleford graduates.

Completely recommend Stapleford. Finished my CPL/IR there in Dec 2003 and got employed with bmi regional June 2004. However, I had done the MCC at Oxford in March '04, and I think that may well have been the "buzz-word" to get an interview....
But with regards to Stapleford, the set-up is great there. Never had any problems, and since I was there, I believe they've got some smart new aeroplanes too!

I graduated from Stapleford in july 2003 then went through the ATP scheme at CTC and now I fly for Jet2.
Also a few guys who did the course at the same time as me are now flying for the airlines I can recall the following:
1 Ryanair,
1 Britannia (through CTC)
1 Monarch (through CTC)
1 on the ATR ,can't remember the company
1 Emerald on the 748
I don't know how many guys are graduating per month so I don't know what the ratio FATPLs/Jobs is.
As for the quality of the training,I suggest you do a search there's plenty on this web site.
