Astraeus + A another

I have recently received a mail from a school offering a type rating and some line training, however the line training and base check is with Astraeus and the initial ground and sim work is with this specific school. Therefore these two companies have obviously teamed up for this agreement. I am just curious as into how these students fair against Astraeus trained guys when it comes to clinching that full time position with Astraeus at the end of training. Yes I believe it depends on the quality of the student but none the less they would have not done the bulk of their training under the watchful eyes of Astraeus and when stood beside a guy who was with Astraeus from day one who would you rather be.Maybe some good will on astraeus part will at least see some hired with them ????
The school I shall not name as I not sure I should but do some searching and you probably see who I on about.
Basically is there anything to be gained by going through them to astraeus or go direct with astraeus???
Any views anyone, Hamrah / Puritan nice to get your prospective.
I know its the same as if you went to storm/bond who have historically provided the majority but is there room for another to musle in on this turf.
The course begins April, and with Astraeus's new bases is the timing a good thing??

Celtflyer,

Bond Students ( irrespective of how they come into Bond) fare the same when it comes to positions with Astraeus.

We are limited by the number of "Low Hour" pilots we can take without diluting our overall experience levels.

We have no agreement with the new management of Storm Aviation for the training or provision of pilots.

It is pretty much down to timing. If we have a vacancy for a low hou pilot, we tend to select from the better performers on the conversion courses. The main consideration for selection is attitude and ability.

Hamrah,

Any idea what your requirement for low hour pilots is likely to be in the near future?
