Ryanair - Whats the full story?

There are various posts going around about ryanair, both good and bad. Can someone explain exactly how the selection and employment works. I understand that you pay for the selection and sim ride initially at EMA. If sucessful you then get your type rating. Are you bonded and then repay, or do you pay for the rating outright yourself? If selected and sucessfully complete your rating are you guaranteed a job, and if so are you commited for a certain period of time? Also what sort of pay can you expect whilst line training?

Thanks in advance

Try this thread for a start - particularly about pay.

And here are the results of a search for Ryanair. That should give you a bit of bedtime reading!
