Which companies has which aircrafts?

Hi,
Does anyone know if theres a webpage where one can find out which companies has got a certain type of aircraft?
It would save a lot of time if I dont have to visit all companys webpage to find out... Thank you.

Hmm

Well thanks, but I was hoping to find a website where I can type a certain type of aircraft and then get a complete list of the companies all over the world that has got that aircraft.

Actually Im looking for companies using the ATR 42... Preferably in Africa.

Flight International do various annual lists of all aircraft types and their operators. You might also get some similar information out of Airliner World, but I don't know how good their websites are.

Maybe check the manufacturers website for a list of current operators?
Alternatively something like Janes or Flight International, however dont think these two have the online material you are looking for, only in "published" issues.

If you just wanted the UK and Ireland, then try http://www.jethros.i12.com/menu.htm - but thats no good for Africa - otherwise get Flight International at the end of March/beginning of April. The 2004 fleet lists were in Volume 165 Numbers 4925, 4926, 4927 (that is 16-22 March, 23-29 March, 30 March-5 April 2004) if you want to order the back issues they're available from [email protected].
