In the UK (sounds like maybe you're in the States?) you need to complete a 'Disclosure Scotland' in order to be issued with an airside pass. So if you can get the form issued, then it needn't be a problem (Both interviews I have been to have never asked the question). But if you are unable to get a 'Basic Disclosure' then no airline will be able to offer you a job. Have a bit of a read here....
