They will quote you the going rate, I doubt you'd find anywhere significantly cheaper.
If you're practising for a sim check and worried about the cost, just remember it might well be priceless....

There is a global market for pukka, certified sims for active aircraft types like the 757. Therefore the price really is the price, if you know what I mean.
I think the only way you'd significantly would be by using one replicating an obsolete type, like a 727 or L1011 et al.
Have you thought of pairing up with someone? You can learn almost as much from watching others mistakes.

I would try Jetlinx too.
They could not offer me sim time due to short notice, but the chap who I spoke to spent time on the phone giving me a few pointers with how a jet handles. It was a major help when it came to my sim check.......

I got offered a good job recently after a 757 sim ride. I practised hard for a couple of weeks using nothing more glamorous than FlightSim 98 but with a proper yoke and rudder pedals (CH Products Virtual Pilot Pro if you're interested).
During the sim ride the instructor even asked if I had been practising using FS98! After the twitchy controls of the computer the 'real' sim was a dream to handle.
