Talking Worth the wait.........

It's been 4 years but the call came today!
I completed my training and MCC in August 2001 and have finally 'landed' my first job. There have been times when I thought this day would never come.........and age wasn't really on my side.
Time to crack that bubbly that has been on ice for a while, at least it will be cold!

Good luck to every one with the job hunting,

A very happy and relieved Flyhalf2

Well Done

Well done Flyhalf2,

I'm 35 and was really beginning to wonder if there are any airlines out there that want us oldies but your message is clear - we're still in the running !!!

This has given me new impetus to write even more letters - any advice:

Cheers P

flyhalf2

Congratulations and the very best of luck!!

It's also been about 4 years for me, and just past the big 'four zero'. Your post has cheered me up no end. It is all to easy to become defeatest sometimes, no matter how hard you try to be positive.

I have a growing collection of airline letterheads in my files, maybe one of the finest collections of PFO's in the country, but I won't quit either!

Any clues as to where you are going?
