To bring this back up again then..... for a female, would you suggest trousers or skirt?! Obviously not some slu*ty mini-skirt, but some nice tailored thing... And we're just talking about the interview here. For a sim check the answer would definitely be trousers!

I had my Stage 2 assessment day with CTC yesterday and there were two girls there. Both were wearing trouser suits - one was black with a light lilac pinstripe (i think) and the other was a very dark navy. Both looked very smart and extemely professional and in my view, you can't go wrong with this.

Regards,

Simon.

It is still a fairly conservative profession. You need to be dressed as you want to be perceived, smart, sober, professional. Casual might be ok if they hold the interview in the local disco or bar, otherwise it would only be good for the other candidates.

Im sorry POL777 but Im finding it quite hard to believe that you are asking what to wear for an interview. You obviously are not thick as you've got this far but remember, YOU ARE GOING FOR A PROFESSIONAL JOB. Wear a suit for crying out loud.

Although Im sure some of the other rather more conservative suggestions on this thread could just well give you the edge. The Panama 57 sounds good but I think you would look even better with some RayBans though. Its the little things that count. Try it and let us know how you get on.

Sorry but posting that question was asking for it quite badly,

Good luck
