Question Streamline and Sheds

A change of jobs means I don't get the chance to chinwag with the crews anymore, so I am out of date with the situation with Streamline/Emerald.

Could any of you Shed drivers give me some idea of the current situation regards type rating? Looks like I may have no choice but to cough up some folding green wonga to get a job in the near future. I am pretty concerned about how the hold pool looks, especially with talk of redundancies at other Shed operators.

Botton line, whats the chance of being taken on (if your not a complete muppet!) after the course compared with say a year or so ago. And do the enquiries about ratings still go 'south', or do you have to telephone 'north' now instead?

Any comments welcomed.

The exeter office is closed, streamline does not exist anymore other than in the fond memories of those who used to work there.
I don't think Emerald are offering self funded type ratings, those going through the shed ratings at the moment are being bonded instead.
