Bmi
Hi folks,
can anyone give me some answers about BMI/BMIbaby.
Do you have a chance to join BMI directly with a current type rating or do you have to come from BMIbaby first? How do they recruit their applicants anyway? I only found an online application form on the BMIbaby webpage.
Oh, I know, there wouldn't be very many open jobs right now. But you never know...
I already looked for some answers in old postings but I didn't find anything.
Thanks a lot for some information.

I suggest you take a look at the fleet strategies of both. Somewhat different.... in which case you can probably assume BMI and BMIbaby pilots do not tend to jump between ships.

bmi not recruiting full stop, or so the official line goes.
bmi baby have recently recruited - generally very experienced pilots with a couple of exceptions.
bmi regional are the best hope but have yet to exhaust the pool of type rated embraer pilots. Once that occurs the doors will open. Lots of pilots leaving at present and set to continue.
LOST.
