Danger CAA Overcharging

I know there has been much discussion regarding the fee payable on application for a CPL/MEIR. I paid a total of £285, that's £185 for CPL issue, and another £100 for the MEIR.

Today my licence appeared in the post (2 months late - a long and boring story that I'll save for another time), and a slip informing me that I had been overcharged, and would be getting £100 back.

SO:

All those of you who paid £285, get in touch with our friends in Gatwick.

Good luck.

Yup - I paid £185 too - for CPL/MECR and IR all together.

How long should it take to get your licence through. I was told it takes about 4-6 weeks at the moment.
