Andy

That's interesting. I think this knowledge might just be a little late for me. Oh, well- what's £100 to people like us, tho, eh?!

Licence didn't come in the post again today.

Ciao!

Chuffer,

"Calm down, it's only a commercial....."

I handed my paperwork in for CPL issue on the 26th Nov and I haven't had mine back yet so fear not, there are others in the same boat.

I did ring the CAA this week to enquire as to where my licence was and was simply told that it was being "processed". Cheers, a great help!

Andy I don't need my roof doing.

By talking about OATS and a certain CAA man from the RAF isn't good!

At least "say your name" is TLC.

Abyway got to go diffuse a bomb!

Glad someone else is having problems calling Dial-A-Joke. Over the past two weeks I have called everyday and spent between 20 & 30 minutes on hold and haven't managed to talk to anyone yet!

I even tried the old trick of calling the most obscure and unused extensions and asking to be put through on internal, even this doesn't work anymore.

Humffff!!................

Situation Update

Got through to CAA just now, and they've informed me that they're working on applications from the 24th November. Funny how their own website updated on 16th Dec says that they were dealing with applications from the 27th. Have they gone working backwards.....!?! "Licences are currently taking 15 working days" they tell me....well today was my 15th and they've said it'll be at least another week. (Incidentally, I put mine in on the 1st Dec)

It's beyond a joke now.....

Regards
Daniel

christmas present from the CAA

I have just received my CPL/IR license from the CAA today - what a nice Christmas present.

I think they did quite well as it only took them 27 days!
