requirements

Hi,

just wondering still a student pilot...

Say if an airline (in this case Emirates) says its requirement for pilots are these:

A minimum of 2500 hours total flying time
A minimum of 1000 hours multi-crew, multi-engined jet aircraft experience
ICAO ATPL

(actual figures from official website btw)

Does the multi-crew, multi-engined aircraft have to be a jet type??
Or can it be a turbo-prop (such as a Dash-8) to be considered for an interview? ... just a thought... it doesnt mention anything about 'jet experience'...

Thanks.

Pilot 16,

You answered your own question...........if you read your own post you stated that EK required 1000 hrs multi-crew, multi-engined jet experience. So , yes, jet experience is required.
