A340 RTOW for SXM
Guys,
I am an A340 driver for an Asian airline but have been to SXM many times as a tourist...can any AF guy possibly enlighten me on your performance limitations out of St Martin on a standard day. Just wondering by how much your MTOW is coming down to considering the short runway and the hill at the end of RWY 10 (loving that immidiate turn on heading 180)
Merci

Hi, I'm not flying the 340, but was pax, flying my way back from SXM and taking off in the cockpit few days ago.
Asking the crew what were the limitations, they say me take off was TODA limited in 28 : runway is shorter for 30 m.
Mass was limited to 215 t in 10.
Hope this answer the question.

what i ve found.
im not pretty sure but this should be checked with FCOMs and SXM charts.
of course a SXM A340 chart should be easier.
will check what i have at home on this.
