Once you're there, visit and talk to a few local aeroclubs, and choose whichever you like best for your PPL.

How much is it the price for a PPL?
I guess these days it must be in the ballpark of €8000, but I've no idea.

The fact is the question banks are a shambles (and so is your spelling above btw )... in whichever language you care to look at them. You simply end up learning the questions and answers by rote--at one point I considered doing my PPL in Norway, even though I don't speak a word of the language I was confident I would have passed the theory.

FWIW, I've done two of my ratings in France and did not have any problems with the language. As you can guess I'm not a native speaker.

Anyway, how did this thread took this sudden lingo-chauvinistic turn? I guess it must have been that idiot Manflex and his fixation with la langue de Napoléon (think about it)? I got tired of his silly rants and killfiled him ages ago.
