Unhappy Evergreen 747 off the runway at NSY
Just heard that an Evergreen 747 went off the runway at NSY (Sigonella) today, anyone know more?

Hope aircraft and crew ok.

Crew is fine, just shaken. Airplane is repairable; all three gears sunk, lots of flat tires, and three engines are toasted.

Well there was a 747 engine(overhauled not new) waiting for Evergreen to pick up in GOT on Sunday when we went through. However they were running 14 hours late and the Ramp Rats were not happy.

EV needs that 747 for CRAF-US military flying; shame its unserviceable now.
