Whoops! 727 at CVT.

Any truth to the rumour that one of ACL's venerable old girls got ramp rash at Baginton International this morning?

Wing hit a Portacabin. I understand that a second 727 is being positioned in to cover.

Little scrape on the wingtip ,a new wingtip did the job.
And the old girl only has 2 more weeks to go before retiring

LHR-pushback

If had been at LHR we could have made a proper job of it if had required the services of a tug.

Heard in EMA, last night, or the night before, can't remember

ACL is going to operate 72's from Coventry, on the route Coventry-Rennes(Brittany)-Marseille(wild south).
Big problem : the runway lenght in Coventry.

You never know
