I think we all expected the demise of the company, but anticipated it at the end of the AF contract rather than in the middle..., but, hey, they've called us back more than once in our lives too...
Whatever the final result, gentlemen, good luck to us all !!

...would you come back again after all they did to you ?
The job itself has been great so far except all that bull**** that we had to take from management every now and than.

Eventhough the beancounters are Swiss I believe they had their
difficulties counting. That to me is the only way that we´re missing this huge number of beans at the end of every month.

Correct me if I´m wrong

Sorry to hear this.

Anyone know is this limited to Farnair's Netherlands operation or is the rest of the group / parent company in Switzerland affected too?

Farnair had a newly converted ATR at Farnborough didn't they? With more apparantly to follow.

Farnair Swiss will continue as it is. That´s what we´ve been told.
The F27 part of Farnair Netherlands will continue as well on another AOC.
Farnair Germany (EPA) will be shut as well. I think they will just
continue with prop aircraft cause they couldn´t handle the A300 general cargo market. I wonder who picks up that very lucrative
AF contract.

Best of luck to everbody who got sacked today !

I got the dreaded registered mail today...
I think I'll go have a few beers tonight, get really smart, and then think of an ingenious plan to get a job with twice the pay and half the worries !!

Meantime, anyone who reads this and feels like hiring a Smart, Friendly, Fun, Handsome FE please feel free to send an email.

Exclamation

This one is getting very interesting now. Mgmt has to explain to the authorities how, why and where all that money disappeared.

I certainly haven´t seen any of it - but still waiting for some.

still employed by FRN for another month.

CLA and EAN are parked in Vatry (France), GIR is in Bordeaux in pieces. They´re all for sale or lease.

And Islandflug will operate the AF contract start next week.
