SWW hiring but layed of a lot of pilots the past 2 years?
A lot of rumors about bad working condition due to bad planning and corruption in planning?
Anybody has infos about t&c ,rostering in Silkway?

Read the other thread on silk way on this site. Most of the expat pilots are leaving or departed already. You will be given all the bad tiring flights that the local pilots don’t want. Corruption is rife, some expat pilots pay mr K (the rosterguy) to have layovers because this is the only way to reduce work load. Also the fake 31 year old, tre Pakistani Brit guy ( who apparently falsified his logbook to gain his tre) is stabbing backs of pilots who disagree with the bad practices.

Let this serve as an example for everyone to see and understand how expats are perceived in Silk Way.
this is a recent email all the pilots in the company have received from a 777 captain addressed to higher management and all departments. Not a joke, not kidding..Re: Sanitary norms !

I would like to greet you all and congratulate everyone on the New Year. I wish everyone good health.
I want to thank captain (…) for the valuable information he has provided us.
Taking this opportunity, I also want to note that during the years I have been working at SWW, every time I fly with the expats, I observe how they behave in such incomprehensible way.
Despite having all the facilities, they throw the toilet paper into the toilet instead of placing it in the designated bins for the toilet paper.
I keep noticing that they do it frequently. If it is not too much trouble, dear management, please pay attention to this and perhaps address it to them.
I'm tired of telling everyone, but each time I fly with them, I see them tossing toilet paper specifically into the toilet. I find this unacceptable.
There is a special place for throwing toilet paper.

Xenophobia toward expats
I think it's the same idiot who in an internal chat called European languages "African". meaning it as an insult. Fortunately, it seems that this phenomenon is limited to this idiot and a few others, although the annoyance towards non-Azeri seems to increase over time.
If this attitude continues to be tolerated by the management, they will not find many expats willing to fly for them.
