FEDEX Laser-based missile-defense system

Is this for serious ?

Anti Missile Laser for FEDEX A321

Yes, there have been a few cases when such a system could have been useful but thankfully the are rather exceptional. Is FEDEX actually thinking about flying into "hot" zones ? In any case I also doubt the economics - I'm pretty sure that an efficient anti missile laser, if such a thing actually exists past prototypes, muss be rather costly both to acquire and to operate.
