The topic on CX Freighters out of JFK is particularly interesting at the moment, CX management having managed yet again to have the right people, (CX freighter crews) based in the wrong place, (London). At present CX is trying to move the base from LHR to NYC with no compensatory payments etc. For a forum with so little traffic the immoderate moderation of CR2 and Hogg yet again stymie free speech. Just cause you've got a big stick girls, it doesn't mean you have to use it........

OO,
There is no free speech on Pprune, read the rules and regulations that you agreed to when you signed up.
A link to this scab list was also shown in
http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthr...threadid=57746
and handled quite nicely by BlueEagle who stated To make things absolutely clear, the rules of PPRuNe state that, there shall be, "No reference to, Links to or details of" scab lists.
I certainly don’t blame two European guys from making sure that the topic stays in the Fragrant Harbour forum where someone who knows the history of the topic and the posters moderates it.
Mutt.

Mutt I couldn't have put that better myself.
OO Now then I see you signed up last month. I hope you read what you signed up for.
Now, the subject matter was CX Cargo in JFK. Fair enough, a valid thread for Freight Dogs. I personally would have asked the question on Fragrant Harbour, because I think I'd have more joy there than here.
So what happened? No answers from anyone to the question. The thread was hijacked by the scab-link poster, who by the way has been banned. I feel that is justification enough to close the thread.
It may be also noted that this Moderator started Freight Dogs with freight in mind. Not scab-lists, invective, slagging off etc. I think we've done well so far. There is little in the way that Hogg and I have to get involved with in running this forum; a little cleaning & re-directing here and there. Umpiring p*ssing contests is thankfully something that doesn't happen over here. Thanks to all the contributors who have made this successfull. Keep it going.
Best regards

It was indeed good to get a link to the scab list on PPRuNe.
Always carried one when I flew left seat and had control of the jumpseat.
Had no idea it was againts PPRuNe rules to publish the list...!
Where does that say, and why?

Here is what Blue Eagle had to say on the matter. Hope it is clear.
Ok?
As I have already pointed out, PPRuNe is not the place to publish a 'scab' list, if you don't like that then you have the option to leave PPRuNe, it is up to you. To make things absolutely clear, the rules of PPRuNe state that, there shall be, "No reference to, Links to or details of" scab lists.

Defensive? I can't for the life of me see how my last post was defensive. Short, sweet & to the point, yes... I thought it answered TowerDog's question.
The scablist has been deleted. Next time it appears, will be deleted etc etc

Hmm, wonder why the scablist is a big no-no on PPRuNe?
Is it just a liability thingy, or more of a personal issue?
(Not trying to stir up muck here mr. rat, just honest curiosity as scabing and such is a big deal out here in the dog-eat-dog world of unions and contracts and Lorenzo's and horses arse's and such.)

Those 'Lists' Again!!!!
Tower Dog - I am butting in here as I am involved and it is now nearly 2:00am in Europe when everyone, (except freighter types!) should be in bed.
If you go to Fragrant Harbour forum you will see I have posted a 'sticky' at the top entitled "Those 'Lists' Again!!!" which should answer your questions.
ENGINEER, which part of 'No reference to, Links to or details of' is it that you don't understand? There is no argument, you have done this as a deliberate act of defiance, despite the rules of the BB.
