SwiftAir

Does anyone know how this company is fairing out with the phaseout of the 727s?

Are they owned by EAT?

Happy,

SwiftAir is not owned by DHL/EAT but there are 'interests' in the company.
The Spanish seem to be slightly more 'enlightened' than some of the more northern
CAAs & it looks like SWT will be operating the 727 for a few years yet. They
also operate ATR42, EMB120, CV580 & Metro so their overall future looks assured,
even if the 72's are forced out.

Swiftair have a few non-Spanish pilots, who work on the same 8 on 6 off as EAT, which means sim checks etc. on "days off." The pay is not brilliant.
