Ben Air Shed in Belfast
Lovely to have a 360 back in NI, arrived at Aldergrove yesterday. Running a late night outbound with return around 02:30.
Anyone know the other end? Presumably a Royal Mail contract for the Christmas season.
Thanks!

Seems that the a/c is OY-PBW. Formerly operated in Australia before tromping up to Denmark. Apparently Ben Air still have three Sheds flying!
It's a UK crew for the Belfast operation; can't be many pilots still current.

callum asked:
I'll probably mangle this ( I'm not a pilot ) but back in the 1990s a chap called Paul ran the training in Belfast. Whilst the Skyvan and SD3x0 were covered in the same ground-school I believe the pilots had to 'select' their type rating for the flying bit, which suggests that they weren't common.
Not sure what's happening with the Ben Air 360, it flew two returns to Edinburgh at the start of last week and has sat on its wheel ever since. Perhaps only a Mon / Tue contract; can they really make money with that.
Does the 360 share a common type rating with the skyvan?
