FromA306 to B744 Make Any Diff.

Hi fellow,,
I have been thinking of changing my current type A300, and go for B744, as the A306 is phasing out of the market, less chances on getting job.. Is it a wise decission???
And if you recommend any cargo company which can hire B747 captain who could pay for the type training.
TT 5600 hrs
PIC on A306/A310 1600 hrs.
current on type.

Your response is highly appreciated.

I think QATAR Airways still have A300 freighters, if you could join and stick around long enough you'd probably get a another type rating when they are eventually phased out.

Air Atlanta Icelandic sometimes offer pay for your own type rating deals. May be alright for getting a few hundred hours on type before moving on.
