Couldn't find anything via google and thought it'd be quicker to ask here.

Can AVI be transported on Metroliners?

Sure, as long as its not put in the nose locker. The rear holds are the same temp/pressure as the cabin.

though he may bot have the right terminology, I can assure you the Metro has a nose baggage compartment

I've hauled critters in Metros. Just make sure the aircraft in question still pressurizes well. Many don't.
