This was expected to happen. His ego and false bravado of being called a pioneer got in front of pure business sense.
India is not cheap and time does not have value here. It was contradictory for him to try and sell aviation cheap and target the masses.
His terminology "common man" has driven many a people nuts in business and is often a term used in marketing here, which i hope now gets consigned to the rubbish heap
