Air Contractors (ACL)

A couple days ago I read this on ppjn :

Fleet
last update
Current: 12 ATR 72, 8 ATR 42, 1 C130 Hercules, 11 Airbus A300. EAP, owned by the company: 17 B737. 13/Jan/10 Orders: 10 B777 (Does anyone know if these are to be leased out or operated directly by Air Contractors?)

I was wondering if there is any truth in this ? Or if somebody has some gossip about it...

Greetz

Edit : typo in title

If you're referring to Air Contractors (better get the name right in this business), 10 777Fs on order... yeah right! You shouldn't believe everything you read. Remember that while ppjn.com is useful, it's user-updated - and the latest ACL update has obviously been done by someone with no connection to the company, and who has been smoking ganja!

Btw, the alleged payscale is wrong too; 80,000 Euro net basic salary? As if... Fleet details are wrong too; they should be: 11 A300Fs, 5 ATR42s, 11 ATR72s, 1 Herk. Plus aircraft leased out to other operators.

Cheers

Thanks Fouga for the correct update.

It seemed to me already that somebody was talking **** when I read this. But then again, you never know in this business

Although I do think that it is at the moment more than 11 A300F, or anyway in the process of been given more from DHL.

Should be 14 A300 by end of next week. Maybe 15 later on.
The B777 was a rumour spread by a collegue to check to wich level it could go. Worked fine if you ask me
