Thumbs up

There is/was a Falcon FA20C operator based in Detroit. Its name is Grand Aire.
They were/are flying those Falcons with General Electric CF700-2D2 without side cargo door.

The Falcon FA20 is the best airplane I have ever flown.

Falcon 20

USA JET still have some, Reliant Airlines had 10+++, out of bussines in 2002. Both from YIP based. Stay away from Grand Air, OK.

There was at least 1 with cargo door operating in Europe (Germany?) until a few years ago, but not sure where the aircraft currently is.

Got to say , the French make beautiful jets and helicopters , pity about their cars which seem to be as durable as a Bic disposable razor

Grande Air is pretty much TU.

Renamed Tricoastal and also TU.

IFL wound up with three of thier 700 powered birds with cargo doors.

Understand USA Jet has parked all thier Falcons and all but 1-2 of thier DC-9's. Someone told me the laid off all but 8 flight crewmembers.

Kalitta Charters still has a few Falcon freighters. They have the Gov. contract moving caskets.

Royal Air I believe has at least 1 or 2 700 powered ones

Kalitta Charters has 6 CF-700 freight falcons flying with another coming online shortly. They also have 1 pax falcon with the dash 5 retrofit.

USA JET has one Falcon 20 still running fr8 and has no less then 9 Dc-9's still operating daily. Rumours of demise is greatly exaggerated

Falcon 20 Freighters

Cobham in the U.K operate 9 old Fed-Ex freighters for naval training and RAF electronic warfare exercises. They also have 4 ex Canadian AF aircraft plus a few others.

Still going strong after all these years.

Naske Air operated one mainly out of Hanover until its nasty CFIT crash in Greenland in 2001, which killed (among others) the boss and destroyed the aircraft and thus the company.

(Apparently not the aircraft's fault.)

Flightmech.

IIRC the first 10 Falcon 20s that FRA (now Cobham) bought in the mid '80s, were ex Fedex with cargo doors. They were operated on the N register for a while.

Flew cargo -20s for 5 years, absolutely loved the airplane. By far the best flying characteristics of the few jets I've flown.
Ameristar also has a few cargo birds flying along with Cherry Air and Alliance, all based in North Texas.
