I knew Mickey for over 6 years and everything said about him so far is spot on; his warm smile and friendly demeanour was an inspiration to everyone. Mickey's CRM and security training courses were always a pleasure to attend as he had the ability to hold everyone's attention.
Mickey will be very sadly missed by all of his friends and colleagues.
Thoughts are with Oliver, Luke and partner Anna.

I'm still shocked at the news. Knew you since your first day at BMA. A real character with tons of charm, you never changed.
You'll not be forgotten, and always thought of with fondness, so not a bad legacy, in my book.
Rest in Peace Mickey.

Quinn, Mickey passed away last Tuesday in Dublin.Don't know cause of death yet.His body will be flown home this week to a post mortem. He came over for a few beers on the 8th and he had hurt his back after falling downstairs on the Fri i think. We watched the England game on the Sat and had a few beers and his back seemed to be a lot better,we even agreed to a round of golf when he returned from Dub.
He was such a great mate to me and Sara, and we spent many a night putting the world to right. He hardly said a bad word about anyone but lifted us all up with his humour. We still expect him to turn up saying it was all a joke. The world would be a better place if there were more people like him.

Very shocked when I heard. I knew Mickey in various guises over many years & he was always the same cheerful bloke & will be a loss to the aviation community. RIP Mickey.
