Class 1.4 Cargo - U.K. to SCL?
Hi guys,
Anyone know if (and who/how) I can get 20kgs Cargo Aircraft Only explosives from the U.K. to Santiago, without routing via the U.S?
UN 0276, Class 1-4C, Packing Instruction 134.
It's used in an ejector seat if that helps.
It's all in accordance with IATA rules.
Ideally a regular service, I don't think either shipper nor consignee will stretch to a charter.
Cheers.

p.s. Not sure if this post is against forum rules, I hope not. Just grabbing at straws for someone who's reached a brick wall using his regular means.

Thanks for all your feedback guys.
He's adamant that it's okay for CAO and that he's in accordance with IATA Dangerous Goods rules.
He has tried some of the suggestions already, but I've now put all this to him and just hope it helps him a bit more.
Thanks again for all your time, effort, and contributions.

You would have to dig very deep into IATA DG Regulations. Anything going via the USA (e.g. FEDEX, UPS) requires more than just proper packing and documentation, lots of permits and exemptions required.
Key is a proper MSDS, issued by the manufacturer.
Suggest to contact Cargo Training International

They should be able to help you, as they have very experienced specialist on hand.
