Air France buys two Boeing freighters
SEATTLE, May 14 (Reuters) - Aerospace giant Boeing Co. <BA.N> said Monday Air France <AIRF.PA> agreed to buy two new Boeing Longer-Range 747-400 freighters, making the European carrier the second customer for the airplane, which was launched earlier this month.
This order is an existing order that has been accounted for in cumulative totals published by Boeing, the company said.
The first airplane will be delivered to Air France in October 2002.
Shares of Boeing closed Friday at $66.01.
