Hi guys. HeavyLift not recruiting at the moment (dunno about Channex), but totally different life from biz jets (got the T shirt!). Work rosters stable in the main, and no living at the end of a pager. But, lots of time waiting at non-exotic airports in the middle of the night. Both HeavyLift & Channex have pax aircraft, so perhaps a bit of variety, and daylight flying sometimes! Hopes that this helps.

Used to do corporate, now a freightdog. Come to cargo flying for a break and never looked back. Best job around as long as you can work nights

Good for you ! My first job was flying corporate, and I hated it ! Angry VIP's who tell you they'd like to depart at 1800Z, so you file a plan, get a slot on time, which you miss because they only show up at 1900Z, so you ask for a new slot, which, of course, is three hours later. Naturally it's all your fault that they can't leave at 1900Z! Sounds familiar ? Never again <img src="mad.gif" border="0"> !!
Since then I've been flying pax and cargo, but cargo is absolutely the way to go !

Hi all,

I love the job in cargo ops. I Will never look back !
That one could be a very nice motto: "containers don't suck, but don't grouse too"
