I have just signed an agreement to upgrade the current server (Dual PIII 550MHz, 512Mb RAM, dual 9Gb SCSI RAID) to a Dual PIII 800MHz, 1Gb RAM, dual 18Gb SCSI RAID (10,000rpm). Change over should occur around beginning April. It will probably mean PPRune being off-air for a day or two but the new higher powered server should put a stop to the recent server crashes we have ben experiencing at peak times.. .. .If any of you want to make an announcement on your various forums please feel free to mention it.. .. .--------------------. .Capt PPRuNe. .aka Danny Fyne. .The Professional Pilots RUmour NEtwork
