End of an Era

EI OZC flies her last trip for ACL tonight, AJA-MRS-CDG. A sad day to see the last of the A300s flying on the "contract" callsign. May the seasonal prosperity follow the crews wherever they go.

What about the DUB-STN-CDG route for Fedex? That still runs as a "Contract" A300?

Ah right! Heard it was due to switch but wasn't sure when. I believe all of the A300's have been leased to Eurotrans now?

Any ideas who is now running the FPO contracts?

And what happened to ABR supposedly getting B733's?

Also, finally, who is running the NCL-CDG flight? I believe it is a JetLine Saab 340? Is that correct?

EI-OZC ferried CDG-MST (Maastricht) on the 27th of December as "ABR704P" and will be painted in DHL colours at the MAAS-painting facility. EI-OZA underwent the same fate a few weeks ago.

Here's a picture of it's arrival at Maastricht;

Worked with those aircraft and crews for a few years now, sad to see them leave the ACL fleet, but best of luck to the crews wherever they find themselves they were all really sound chaps and easy to work with. Does anoyne know if OZB has gone to DHL as yet ?

The FedEx A300 is now operating the DUB-STN-CDG route under the 'contract' callsign with of course FedEx crews now, sometime early next year I believe it will become a full FedEx operation out of DUB for for now the A/C is maintained still by the ACL mechanics and operates for ACL who operate it back for FedEx, weird arrangment.

EI-OZA went through MAAS for repainting, here's a picture shortly after roll out. EI-OZB is expected to be repainted after EI-OZC. I don't know where she hangs out right now...
